We use the following high grade natural Oils, Butters and essential Oils that are all ethically sourced.

Oils and Butters

Olive
Olive Oil makes up over half the oil content in every bar of soap we produce. Its properties ensure that we end up with a beautifully moisturising bar.

Coconut
All of our soaps contain this lovely Oil. It helps to harden the bar and produce a good lather in a cold process soap but we also use it because it contains antifungal, antimicrobial, antioxidant and antibacterial agents. It’s great for soothing dryness and irritation and often used to treat common skin disorders such as eczema and psoriasis.

Palm
Increases the bubbles and makes your bar of soap last longer however it is also packed full of high levels of Vitamin A and vitamin E. All the Palm Oil we use has been ethically and responsibly sourced

Sweet Almond
Is one of the carrier oils and works particularly well with Avocado oil. Both combined together are wonderful moisturiser and are easily absorbed by the skin.

Castor
Is from the Castor bean it’s a humectant meaning that when it is used in a product it helps t to retain the moisture and helps the soap in the cold Process soaps to lather. It’s also high in antibacterial and antifungal properties.

Avocado
Easily absorbed into the skin and is an excellent emollient meaning it will make the skin feel soft and supple - so ideal for dry skin. Good for stretch marks and aiding sun damaged skin.

Shea Butter
Comes from the African Shea tree and has been used for centuries for its unique skin care properties. It’s a terrific moisturiser and great for hands, feet and nails.

Cocoa Butter
Is a natural butter that comes from the fat from the seeds of Theobroma Cacoa. It has a very mild chocolatey aroma. It is a little luxury which acts as a great moisturiser.

Essential Oils

Lavender
Lavender is one of our most popular fragrance in our soaps. Its therapeutic properties include includes stress, eczema, headaches, and insomnia

Lemon
Known to be a great cleanser and can only give you the feel good factor with its uplifting citrus scent.

Sweet Orange
Very sweet citrus fragrance, revitalising, uplifting and bound to remind you of a hot Spanish day.

Rosemary
Rosemary is believed to be a stimulant and is often used to relieve aches and pains.

Tea Tree
Widely used for its antiseptic qualities which makes it a great product for oily or spotty skin.

Lime
Fresh and full of citrus aroma which gives you that wake up and revitalised feeling.

Grapefruit
Fresh and revitalising this essential oil is a great tonic

Peppermint
Has a cooling effect on the skin so it’s perfect in our gardeners soap to soothe those bruised and scratched hands.
